Your body is amazing: it walks, talks, sits, reaches, touches, digests, and does many other things that you may take for granted. In a Body Scan, you tune into the various regions of your body one by one and feel whatever sensations are apparent in each region and to whatever thoughts and feelings you become aware of. Accept whatever happens. The Body Scan puts your energy into experiencing your body as it is right now. It helps you to feel at home in your body. The way to do this is to tune into your body and be mindful of it without judging it. Breathe in to each region and breathe out from each region of your body.
